My first stop for any news remotely technolgy related. Best news site, bar none.
- Java at Sun Microsystems - The home of all that is Java.
- IBM Alphaworks - Great resource for cool development technology.
- Google - The coolest search engine around.
TIP: do a search for "As Evil As Satan", the top link says it all... ;)
- Software Engineering Australia - Promoting and helping Australia's software industry.
- Griffith University - my Uni. And here is my school, the School of Computing and Information Technology (CIT) where I did my Software Engineering degree. Also check out the School of Microelectronic Engineering - I did the page for them AND Both schools are where I'm doing my PhD.
- Mozilla - The next generation Netscape Browser. Check out
the internationalisation and localisation projects - these are of particular interest to me.
For the Uninitiated: Internationalisation and localisation (spelt with a 'z' if you're from the US) are in geek circles sometimes abbreviated to i18n anf l10n respectively, and are terms used to describe making a program that will work in different languages (e.g. Windows in Chinese)

Well, I think some are relatives and the rest I pay...
- Carly's Website - A website all about... Well, Carly! I went to high school and university with this young lady. She has a lot to say, and well she says it in her journals.
- Dan Everton - Geek Extrodinaire (sometimes known as "document boy" and "code monkey", more often the "Powerless Figurehead"). Best known for his prowess upon Linux. He has also been a software engineer at Ephox and now works for Boeing (Australia). He is a fan of Tori Amos, and is the maintainer of the Tori Amos Lyric Database (TALD).
- John Morrison - known as the Technical Premadonna, John is the author and "god" of WinBolo (and LinBolo). John worked with me as a software engineer at Worldlingo.com but now spends his time at Virgin Blue Airlines. Check out his site and download some of his cool programs.
- Cameron McNeil - Mr 5 frags, ten minutes himself. Cam is a Team Fortress fanatic that works at Ephox. He has also done software engineering with myself, Dan and John at Griffith University.
- Kirstin (Kirsty) Bettiol - Formerly Kirstin Puusaari, the (not so) "Token Female" Works in the most luxurious office block in Brisbane, the Christie Centre for Toast.com. Her hubby works with us at Worldlingo.com. Check out their site John and Kirstin (.com).
